Gothic style chapel fronted by 3 stage tower with battlements, corner pinnacles, and arched windows with hood-moulds. Nave has 3 y-tracery arched windows on each side. Side arched recessed door on tower with hood-mould. Pitched slate roof. Later addition of apse style chancel (basalt with red sandstone dressing) 3 bays long. Yellow sandstone on original window dressing, red sandstone on courses. Recently repointed in lime, cleaned, and new rainwater goods.

    Basalt is in good condition but some sandstone elements show evidence of deterioration through loss of surface material and definition.
