Large Gothic Revival style church. Four bay nave flanked by aisles, which are gabled to full height with lancet windows. Transepts and 2 storey corner vestry. Fronted by tall square tower with octagonal stone spire. Two gabled porches. Sandstone ashlar dressings to basalt walls. Pitched slate roof.
