Clonard Monastery Gates & Wall

Four limestone gate pillars, approximately 4m tall. Plain ashlar with moulded capstones and pointed cone. Flanking this are low stone walls with railings. Original wall sections are rock-faced ashlar. New wall sections are granite, in a rock-faced coursed pattern with polished granite coping stones.
