Two storey, 4 bay former Court and market house. Ground floor has four large archways to front. Upper floor has four tall sash windows. West face similar arches but only 1 window and fire escape. South gable has a bricked up archway. Stone arch on North side carrying steps to first floor courtroom door. Hipped slate roof.
