    Basalt stonework is in good condition but some rhyolite detailing shows evidence of deterioration with scaling, flaking and granular disintegration resulting in surface roughening and loss of architectural detail.

    Stage 2 – Section specific remedial action is required but the extent of intervention should be limited because of the lack of distant involvement within façade boundaries.
