St. John’s C of I Church

Gothic church consisting of nave and North/South transepts. Fronted by a central square tower with rounded arch doorway with fanlight, and corner pinnacles. Rendered sanctuary and corner vestry at rear. Pitched slate roof. Plain ashlar granite dressing, and painted sandstone tracery. Transepts appear later, rough-coursed, some greywacke and granite quoins. Nave rubble with a variety of sizes and stone types
