St. John’s Parish Church

Gothic style church consisting of nave, hexagonal ended chancel, North and South transepts, and full height side aisles with triple lancet windows. Squat attached porch in NW corner with hipped roof. Rose window in West gable within a pointed arch surround with hood mould. Square bell-tower in SW corner with pyramidal pinnacles. Segmental arched doorway in South side. Transepts have rose window above 3 lancets in pointed arch surround. Rock-faced ashlar granite quoins, sandstone dressings.
