Small church consisting of nave and chancel. Chancel is later with large basalt blocks. North side has large porch enclosed entrance and modern toilet block. Slated octagonal spire atop square tower with battlements to West end. Pitched slate roof.

    Basalt is in good condition but sandstone elements show some evidence of deterioration through loss of surface material through scaling.
