Gothic style church. Nave of basalt rubble, later tower is coursed tooled basalt with ashlar sandstone dressing. Nave fronted by tall square tower and spire. Recessed doorway with attached columns, tower with corner finials. Later South transept and vestry. Modern boiler house at SE corner
