St. John the Baptist RC Church, Carranbeg

Plain church in a simple Hiberno-Romanesque style. Main entrance through a pointed arch recessed doorway in a projecting stone porch, with shamrocks carved onto hood-mould ends. Projecting stone extension at East end with Jacobean Revival style windows and side entrance. 4 lancet windows on nave side walls. East front has triple lancet window with hood-mould, West front has 2 large double lancet tracery windows with integral oval window, and hood-mould. Free-standing bell-tower with bell stands near North side
