Georgian style pair of buildings, 2 storey at front dropping to 3 storey at rear over basement. No.4 is shop with modern ground floor shop front. No.6 has a central round arch doorway with painted surround. Steps leading up to entrance. Rectangular sash windows with painted dressings. Red-brick dressing to rear. Hipped slate roof. Red sandstone used on gate pillars and occasionally appears in East wall but main stone is local chalk with sandstone dressings
