Lion's Gate, Mussenden Road, Downhill

Two large sandstone gate pillars with basalt wall screen either side. There was originally a small gate lodge at either side. Fronts have a central alcove with a Doric column either side, the rear just the alcove. Carved detail and vermiculated blocks
