Gothic style church with later chancel and 3 stage tower attached to West end. Tower has lancet windows with hood-mould, date plaque and clock above, lancet vent at top. Castellated with corner pinnacles. Pointed arch tracery windows on sides of nave. Original sandstone on tower, parts of window dressing remain in North wall and newer dressing is Giffnock
