St. Columb's Cathedral, St. Columb's Court, Derry
County Londonderry

Large and important church with many later additions and alterations. Four stage tower in NW corner, castellated, with tall octagonal spire, corner pinnacles and pointed arch double lancet windows. Main walls are buttressed and castellated with triple lancet windows and half round turret near East gable with domed roof. East face has a large central tracery window with smaller version either side. Cross on gable point and quatrefoil vents near base. Mix of sandstone dressing and past limestone replacement
