Freestanding square clock tower in High Victorian Gothic with eclectic mix of styles, 113 feet tall with a base of flying buttresses surmounted by crowned lions. Main stone is Scrabo Sandstone. Most ornamental stonework was removed between 1924 & 1950 but has now been reinstated
