Local Dalradian Schist (Tyrone)

County Tyrone has a variety of different Dalradian (1000-545 million years old) schist or psammite formations within the Southern Highland and Argyll Groups. These have been grouped together into Local Dalradian Schist (Tyrone) and depending on location may include green/grey Derry Schist or orange/brown Claudy Schist (technically psammite).
