Red Sandstone
The red sandstones used in Northern Ireland are almost entirely of Permo-Triassic age and include local Triassic Dundonald Sandstone and a range of Permo-Triassic sandstones from Scotland and England including Locharbriggs, Cove and St. Bee's Sandstone
