Scottish Baronial style castle. 3 storey plus attic. Main building is square with double pile hipped roofs. SW corner- round tower with battlements, NW corner- gabled wing with crow steps forward of main face. Pedimented dormers at roof level. N face- 2 storey house and outbuildings in same style. Side corner turrets at SE corner. E face- central square attached tower with shallow porch stone enclosed entrance porch. NE corner- extended wing with round tower forming courtyard around N face, with gateway joining to outbuildings. Dressed stone around windows, partial quarry faced
