First Presbyterian Non-Subscribing Church

Classical style façade, 2 stories high and 3 bays wide. Rounded arch double-doorway with fanlight, rounded arch window either side, square-topped sash windows on first floor with double Ionic pilasters between, balustrade on top. Rest of building elliptical shaped behind front façade. Most stone now plastered.

    Sandstone blockwork is in reasonable condition but with some evidence of isolated stone block deterioration and surface loss through flaking and granular disintegration.

    Stage 1 – A façade in this condition will only require localised remedial treatment concentrating on individual blocks. Stage 1 classification may also indicate that no intervention is needed with only periodic re-assessment of the façade is recommended.
