Gate Lodge to Riddel Hall

Two storey Tudoresque gate lodge with casement windows, built in red-brick with sandstone dressing. Roughly L-shaped in plan with projecting corner entrance which has a square-topped doorway.

    Sandstone is generally in good condition but deterioration is present at the corners and edges of blocks due to the use of hard cement mortar.
