Former primary school. Tower at East end with Tudoresque windows, date-stone, pointed arch vents and pitched slate roof. Between tower and the main section is a shouldered doorway in a pointed arch surround with fanlight and “Young Ladies School” above. Main section has 3 Tudoresque windows on ground floor and 1 large triple casement with pointed arch and oval window inset.

    Sandstone blockwork is in reasonable condition with some block deterioration and surface loss through scaling, flaking and granular disintegration. Poor maintenance poses the greatest risk to the future of this structure.
