St. Matthew’s C of I Church

Gothic style church, consisting of nave, North transept, and corner vestry. Fronted by a square tower with side recessed door, crenellation, and corner gabled decorated pinnacles. Carved square coat of arms above entrance, and lancet windows. Pitched slate roof. Ashlar sandstone dressing, quoins, and windows.

    Basalt in good condition with some surface discoloration (greening) and roughening of sandstone detailing associated with minor granular disintegration and flaking.
