St. Patrick’s Avenue, Downpatrick, Down
Gothic style church, L-shaped in plan. Large East wing is a later addition. Original nave with pitched slate roof. Side-corner tall square tower with corner buttresses and stone spire, decorated pilasters. Side-rear turret. South gable, recessed archway with decorative columns below large tracery rose window, and large arched windows. North face joined to convent at NW corner. 2 storey octagonal ending, lean-to aisle with gabled porch entrance. Cast stone dressing on new addition
