The Watergate, Enniskillen Castle

3 storey structure. Main face (water side) is flanked by two tall round bartizans, corbelled out at 1st floor level. Each has 4 square-topped dressed windows and 1 cross-shaped opening at the top, both with conical stone caps. Crow-stepped battlements at top, supported by square stone corbelling. All windows are square-topped and chamfered with label moulding. Steps down on East face to join a small wall on North face, with a square-topped door and window.
