Two storey, 5 bay house with central doorway. Pitched slate roof. Recessed Georgian windows. Dressing painted. Red sandstone rusticated block around doorway. Basalt walls. Joined to No. 5 but probably one building originally. Old school house.

    Basalt is in good condition but there is some evidence of sandstone detailing deterioration with granular disintegration and surface roughening.
