Large Gothic style church with nave and North/South transepts. Recessed arch entrance with double lancet windows above. 4 stage square tower at SE corner with stone spire. Pitched slate roof. Vestry at rear, 1 storey high. Basalt rubble, rock-faced with sandstone dressings.

    Basalt in good condition with some limited surface discoloration and roughening of sandstone detailing associated with minor granular disintegration and flaking.
