Layde Parish Church

Small hall church with small chancel. Pitched slate roof with bell gable to front, topped by stone pinnacle, with further pinnacles to gable corners. Central front enclosed porch with side door and fine stone pinnacles. Gothic lancet windows, entrance on West side.

    Stonework is in good general condition with minimal evidence of deterioration through some surface roughening of isolated sandstone blocks.
