St. Comgall’s Church

Plain Gothic style church, 4 bay nave with pointed arch windows and modern tracery. Stepped quoins and string course. Fronted by square, 3 stage bell tower with crenellation and pyramidal pinnacles. Pointed arch doorway with hood-mould. Later addition of North transept and vestry. Nave possibly extended as difference in sandstone
