Gothic style church in cruciform plan with nave, aisles and transepts. Tall 4 stage tower at South East corner with main entrance at its base facing South, capped by battlements and corner pinnacles.

    Sandstone blockwork is in reasonable condition but with some evidence of isolated stone block deterioration and surface loss through scaling, flaking and granular disintegration. Heavy soiling.
