Large Gothic style church consisting of nave, lean-to aisles with cross-gabled transepts, chancel, large vestry in SW corner. Side-gabled porch on West aisle. Fronted by a large tall square tower with broached octagonal stone spire. Front entrance has large recessed archway, double-doors with carved attached columns. Red sandstone dressings.
